Like most Trichocereus species, TA01 is resilient and can be propagated from large stem cuttings. If rooting cuttings during the winter dormancy period, progress will be slow; expect root establishment to take a few months, aligning with the onset of the spring growing season. For optimal growth, use a highly gritty, well-draining soil mix, provide bright partial to full sunlight, and follow a deep watering schedule only when the soil is completely dry.
