====== Booya ======

===== Description =====
Trichocereus pachanoi "Booya" is a robust pachanoid cultivar known for its resilience and classic morphology. While specific rib counts and spine measurements are not detailed in primary community discussions, it is described as a large-growing phenotype. The epidermis typically exhibits the standard green to dark green coloration associated with Australian pachanoi types found in the Queensland region.

===== History & Origin =====
The "Booya" clone originated in Toowoomba, Queensland. According to community accounts, the plant was identified when a property was purchased that contained seven large, uniform specimens of this specific cultivar. There is anecdotal evidence suggesting the clone may have originally been sourced from a nursery known as "Damascus Garden," though documentation for this business is sparse. The cultivar was later distributed significantly by Benjamin Plant, a well-known grower in the Ipswich area, who sourced his material from the original Toowoomba population.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
Booya is highly regarded for its exceptional resistance to environmental stressors, particularly high humidity. It is considered one of the premier cultivars for cultivation in South East Queensland (SEQ) and similar subtropical climates where fungal pressure is high. Like most Trichocereus pachanoi, it prefers well-draining mineral soil and regular fertilization during the growing season, but it distinguishes itself by its ability to remain "clean" (free of humidity spotting) in damp conditions.
