===== Description =====
"Cactus Kate's San Pedro" is a cultivar of Trichocereus (syn. Echinopsis) known for producing highly glaucous, blue-colored new growth (pups). The spines are characterized by a distinct orange coloration at their bases.

===== History & Origin =====
This clone is historically associated with the late Verne Robinson, a well-known cactus vendor who operated under the business name "Cactus Kate." Specimens of this clone in circulation are frequently traced back to Robinson's original stock.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
While specific cultivation requirements for this clone are sparse, it demonstrates robust growth and a strong tendency to pup, even after sustaining physical damage. Standard Trichocereus cultivation practices apply: utilize a highly gritty, well-draining soil mix, provide deep watering only when the substrate is completely dry, and ensure adequate sunlight to maintain the blue coloration of the epidermis.
