===== Description =====
"Cohuete azul" is a glaucous Trichocereus clone. While specific morphological data such as precise rib counts, spine measurements, and floral characteristics are not detailed in the primary discovery accounts, the name and community reports indicate a distinctly blue (glaucous) epidermis.

===== History & Origin =====
This clone was discovered and introduced to the community by Andrea Rossi. Rossi found the original specimen growing wild in the Canary Islands, speculating that it established itself after someone discarded cuttings into a green space. Rossi distributes this clone and related seeds through his page, Planta.s.agradas.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
According to grower feedback, "Cohuete azul" performs well under intense light conditions, described as growing thick and healthy in the central Texas sun. Standard cultivation practices for glaucous Trichocereus species apply: provide well-draining soil, deep but infrequent watering during the growing season, and protection from hard freezes.
