===== Description =====
This cultivar is a robust, thick-growing ("swole", "chonky") *Trichocereus pachanoi* clone characterized by having almost no spines (spineless or near-spineless) at the areoles. The epidermis is typically glaucous to deep green. It is capable of prolific flowering, often from multiple nodes simultaneously, and producing viable fruit. Morphologically, community members note a strong resemblance to other prominent spineless or semi-spineless cultivars, specifically 'Skyline' and 'Gloria's Juuls' (Juul's Giant), suggesting a potential genetic relationship.

The discussion also identifies specific variations within the "KT" (Keepers of the Trove) lineage. The 'KT-AZ' clone is described as more aesthetically distinct and "funner to stare at" compared to the 'KT Pachanoi', which exhibits a more typical or "limanoid" morphology. Another variant, the 'Ecogrow KT', is referred to by some collectors as the "444 looker."

Additionally, the community discussion encompasses other notable *T. pachanoi* clones, including 'Juul's Giant' (often compared to 'Strybing pachanoi' and 'Barbara's Juuls'), the 'Kenny' clone (recognized as a very large, robust specimen), and 'Ogunbodede's Pachanoi' (commonly shortened to 'Ogun').

===== History & Origin =====
The primary clone discussed, "Dangar Spineless" (or "Dangar's Spineless"), was discovered and distributed by Daniel Lawrence Garberg (known by the eBay username "dangar"). Garberg rescued the mother plant from a residential yard in his neighborhood near Solana Beach, California, where it was slated for removal by the landowner.

The discussion also details the history of other *T. pachanoi* clones:
* **Juul's Giant / Strybing / Barbara's Juuls**: There is an ongoing hypothesis that 'Strybing pachanoi' and 'Juul's Giant' are the same clone. This is supported by the fact that multiple cross-pollination attempts (5–6 attempts) by Ben Kamm between the two failed completely, while other crosses conducted at the same time succeeded, suggesting clonal self-incompatibility. It is speculated that Tom Juul may have sourced his original backyard stand from the Strybing Arboretum. The original Juul's Giant stand was harvested by the grower "Kakster" with permission from the resident family. 'Barbara's Juuls' is another identical-looking stand discovered by the old Cactus Gem Nursery.
* **Kenny**: This clone originated from a residential property in Vista, California, owned by a resident named Kenny. It was distributed by Thaimae Le after columns from the stand fell over and were shared.
* **KT Clones**: The 'KT Pachanoi' and 'KT-AZ' clones are associated with Ecogrow. While often confused, 'KT-AZ' is noted for its distinct appearance, while 'KT Pachanoi' is more standard in form.
* **Ogunbodede's Pachanoi (Ogun)**: Originally distributed by Sacred Succulents under the name "Ogunbodede's Pachanoi" (later shortened to "Ogun"), this clone is named after Olabode Ogunbodede, who published a scholarly paper on the species in 2010/2011. Community members note that the name is sometimes misspelled or misattributed in discussions.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
This clone is a vigorous grower that performs well in standard Trichocereus conditions. It is capable of flowering from multiple nodes simultaneously and setting fruit, which contains viable seeds and is edible.

The 'Kenny' clone is noted for producing very thick, robust growth (described as a "beast"). 'Juul's Giant' is also highly regarded for producing exceptionally thick midsections. Sacred Succulents remains a recommended source for acquiring authentic specimens of these cultivars, though they traditionally utilize money orders for transactions.

| 2022 (approx) | Krüz Kalke | "They didn't mostly fail; all 5-6 attempts completely failed, and other crosses during those same attempts nearly all succeeded, so it wasn't just a weather event" |

| 2025 (approx) | Matt Olson | "Thaimae Le is where I got my Kenny from. It was posted in TCC. It's her neighbor's cactus and he shared some to her and they also had some columns fall down. The neighbor's name is Kenny." |
| 2025 (approx) | Chris CactusLife | "Matt Olson yup, got mine from her, it's a beast" |
| 2025 (approx) | David Gonzalez | "sadly Kenny is no longer with us as far as I know, a good friend of mine who lives in Vista gave me the bad news a couple of years ago, not long after I met the man himself and traded a few plants with him. Not sure if Thaimae Lee knows that." |
