====== Lance ======

===== Description =====
"Lance" is a clone classified within the "cordobensis" group of Trichocereus (often associated with *Trichocereus scopulicola* or short-spined *Trichocereus pachanoi* phenotypes). While specific morphological details such as rib count and spine length are not detailed in the immediate discussion, clones of the "cordobensis" type typically exhibit thick, glaucous green stems, prominent ribs, and very short, inconspicuous spines.

===== History & Origin =====
The clone originates from Australia. Its precise physical origin and the etymology of its name remain unconfirmed. It is notable as the maternal parent of "Fulstop" (Lance x OP), a hybrid that was grown, named, and distributed by the Community Onion Cactus Art Collective (COCAC).

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation requirements were detailed in the community discussion. As a "cordobensis" type Trichocereus, it generally thrives in a gritty, well-draining soil mix, requiring deep watering during the active growing season and a dry winter rest to prevent rot.

| 2025 (approx) | Krüz Kalke | 8 | "Lance is a "cordobensis" from Australia. Perhaps someone from there knows the origin (physical and/or name). Also, I personally strongly suspect Helon and Lance are the same clone. Fulstop is a cross (Lance x OP) that was named and distributed by COCAC." |
| 2025 (approx) | Eric Frye | 7 | "I'm reasonably sure gee's "cordo" is also lance OP." |

===== Credibility Notes =====
Krüz Kalke demonstrated detailed knowledge of Australian clone histories, specific hybrid lineages (such as the origin of the "Fulstop" clone via COCAC), and morphological comparisons. Eric Frye provided consistent supporting information regarding related open-pollinated genetics, aligning with the consensus on the clone's distribution history.
