===== Description =====
"Mama Llama" is a Trichocereus cultivar recognized primarily for its striking coloration. While detailed morphological descriptions regarding rib count, spine length, and areole structure are sparse in primary literature, community observations note that the clone develops a highly glaucous, blue epidermis as it matures.

===== History & Origin =====
The exact origin of "Mama Llama" remains partially speculative, but community records link it to hybridization efforts by "MP" (commonly associated with the breeder Misplant). It is identified as a "Kim" cross (likely referring to the clone "Kimura" or "Kim's Pachanoi"). The Huntington Botanical Garden (HBG) was mentioned in community discussions regarding the clone's context, though it is not confirmed to have direct provenance linking it to the institution.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
To promote the characteristic blue, glaucous epidermis of "Mama Llama," growers should provide filtered light or partial shade, as intense, direct sunlight can degrade the waxy glaucous coating. Standard Trichocereus cultivation practices apply: utilize a highly porous, mineral-gritty soil mix, allow the substrate to dry completely between waterings, and feed with a balanced fertilizer during the active growing season.
