===== Description =====
"Marty" is characterized as a distinct blue clone, exhibiting a highly glaucous epidermis. Detailed morphological data regarding specific rib counts, areole spacing, and spination are currently limited, but its striking blue coloration is its primary distinguishing feature.

===== History & Origin =====
The clone originates from New Zealand. It was reportedly acquired by the well-known Trichocereus grower Ross G. (Ross Gurua), who was gifted the original cutting by an elderly man named Marty after stopping to inquire about the plant.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No clone-specific cultivation requirements were detailed in the community discussion. As a glaucous blue clone, it likely benefits from standard Trichocereus care: a gritty, well-draining soil mix, deep but infrequent watering during the active growing season, and bright, filtered light to encourage and maintain its intense blue coloration.
