===== Description =====
This hybrid clone represents a cross between a *Trichocereus* from the Matucana region and *Trichocereus macrogonus*. Cultivators describe the plants as robust, thick-stemmed ("chonks"), and notably larger than average specimens. The epidermis and spination exhibit intermediate characteristics between the typical blue-green, heavily ribbed Matucana peruvianus phenotypes and the classic glaucous, long-spined *T. macrogonus*.

===== History & Origin =====
The exact breeder of the seed batch is not explicitly confirmed, but the plants were distributed and popularized within the community by Chuck BoBuck Hillman III (operating under Cactus Chuck) around 2022. Community members note that the Matucana lineage originates from the mountainous regions north of Lima, Peru. Other growers, such as Dominion Plants, have reported raising specimens from the same seed crop.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
This hybrid responds well to standard *Trichocereus* cultivation practices. Propagation via grafting is highly effective, particularly for smaller or compromised cuttings. Growers should monitor for moisture-related fungal issues, as some softer cuttings have been noted to be susceptible to spotting if kept in overly humid or poorly ventilated conditions.
