===== History & Origin =====
The clone "MT17" was grown from Matucana seed by Manuel Terra at Green Candy Genetics.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation notes were provided in the community discussion. As a Matucana-type *Trichocereus*, standard care guidelines apply: utilize a highly gritty, well-draining soil mix (50-70% inorganic material like pumice or perlite), water deeply only when the soil is completely dry, and provide ample direct sunlight or high-intensity grow lights to prevent etiolation.
