===== Description =====
Myrtilocactus geometrizans variegata (commonly known as the variegated Whortleberry or Blue Candle cactus) is an arborescent cactus species. It typically features distinct ribs (usually 5 to 8) with areoles bearing short, stout, dark-colored spines. The epidermis is characterized by a glaucous blue-grey coloration, which is contrasted by patches of yellow or cream variegation due to chlorophyll deficiency. Specific morphological characteristics unique to the "collection D.B" clone, such as rib count variations or variegation patterns, are not documented in the available discussion.

===== History & Origin =====
The origin, breeder, and history of the "collection D.B" clone remain unverified. The designation "D.B" likely refers to a specific private collection or collector, but no definitive records are currently available in the primary discussion.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation notes were provided for this clone. In general, variegated Myrtilocactus geometrizans requires a highly porous, well-draining soil mix. Due to the variegated patches lacking chlorophyll, these plants are more sensitive to intense, direct sunlight than their fully green counterparts and should be grown in bright, filtered light to prevent sunburn. They prefer warm temperatures, moderate watering during the active growing season, and should be kept dry and frost-free during winter dormancy.
