===== Description =====
"Peru Blue 3" (also referred to as "blue Peru #3") is a glaucous, blue-skinned *Trichocereus* clone, presumably of *Trichocereus peruvianus* lineage. Detailed botanical descriptions regarding rib count, spine length, and areole spacing are not well-documented in the provided community records, though its name indicates a prominently blue epidermis.

===== History & Origin =====
The breeder, origin, and introduction history of "Peru Blue 3" remain unconfirmed. There is unverified community speculation suggesting a potential synonymy with the clone "BP03" (which some growers associate with "Pink Elephant"), but this connection is not formally established.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation requirements were detailed in the discussion. As with most glaucous *Trichocereus* species, it is typically grown in well-draining mineral soil, requiring wet-to-dry watering cycles and bright, filtered light to maximize its blue coloration. Grafting is utilized by some growers for propagation and accelerated growth.
