===== Description =====
"Peruvianus Rick Yo" is a *Trichocereus peruvianus* clone characterized by its adaptability in spine expression. Under certain environmental conditions, such as lower light levels ("low sun"), it is known to exhibit a distinct short-spine phenotype.

===== History & Origin =====
This genetic line was established by the collector and grower Planet Rick. According to the breeder, the plant is a cross of two clones that taxonomist Patrick Noll identified as *Trichocereus peruvianus*. The parental genetics were originally sourced from two plants gifted by the neoshamanism movement of Itzachilatlan (Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan) during a vision quest. It has been propagated and distributed internationally, with specimens grown in Germany, by collectors such as Mathieu Alba, and distributed in the United States via vendors like RMF Cactus.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
This clone shows phenotypic plasticity depending on light exposure. In lower light environments (such as northern European climates like Germany), it tends to produce a shorter spine expression. Standard *Trichocereus* cultivation practices apply: provide well-draining soil, deep but infrequent watering during the growing season, and adequate airflow.
