====== T. bridgesii ‘TSP Achuma’ ======

===== Description =====
*Trichocereus bridgesii* 'TSP Achuma' is a columnar cactus aligned with the *T. bridgesii* (syn. *Echinopsis lageniformis*) group, though it is speculated to potentially be a hybrid. Typical of the species, it is expected to feature a glaucous green epidermis, prominent ribs, and sparse areoles with yellowish to brown spines. Specific botanical details such as rib count, spine length, and flower morphology are not detailed in the source discussion.

===== History & Origin =====
This clone originates from Australia. The prefix "TSP" stands for Tommy Sanchez Pedros, an Australian grower who cultivated the plant for approximately 15 years prior to 2020, placing his acquisition of the clone around 2005. Sanchez Pedros originally acquired the plant under the name "Achuma." In April 2020, grower Grant Nicholson acquired a cutting from Sanchez Pedros, helping to establish the clone under the "TSP Achuma" designation.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation details were provided in the community discussion. Standard *Trichocereus bridgesii* cultivation practices apply: provide a highly gritty, well-draining soil mix, water deeply only when the soil is completely dry, and ensure adequate airflow and bright, filtered sunlight. Protect from hard freezes and excessive winter moisture to prevent black spots, to which *T. bridgesii* can be prone.
