===== Description =====
TCP Bridge is a clone of //Trichocereus bridgesii//. It exhibits ribs and an epidermis color similar to the well-known clone 'SS02', but features a more wild spination pattern described as a mix between 'OTB' (Old Town Bridgesii) and 'Psycho0'. The overall phenotype is closely related to La Paz regional forms, with spine characteristics reminiscent of specimens from Cochabamba.

===== History & Origin =====
The acronym "TCP" stands for "Trichocereus Cactus Plant," a term originally coined by the grower Cal Cactuz. The designation is used within the community as a placeholder name for newly discovered plants, specimens with lost labels, unknown hybrids, or general NOID (no identification) San Pedro cacti. "TCP Bridge" specifically designates a //T. bridgesii// specimen circulating under this identifier. The clone has been distributed by Lawrence Smith, with specimens propagated by growers such as Dicky Vee and Chris Cosby.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
This clone responds well to standard //Trichocereus// propagation methods. It has been successfully cultivated both as a traditional vertical column and via log planting (laying a mid-section horizontally to encourage multiple offsets along the trunk). Standard //T. bridgesii// care applies, including highly porous, well-draining soil and deep, infrequent watering.

^ Date ^ Speaker ^ Key Insight/Quote ^
| 2026-01 (approx) | Lawrence Smith | "I think it was was the great Cal Cactuz who coined TCP for Trichocereus Cactus Plant. I use it in various ways, for new found plants, old lost labels, NOIDs, unknown hybrids, etc. Another name for San Pedro really. TCP bridge would be some kind of Trichocereus bridgesii." |
| 2026-01 (approx) | François Vendiol | "It has ribs and color similar to SS02, but different spination, more wild like a mix of OTB and Psycho0. He could be close related to most LaPaz pheno. With a hint of Cochabamba for the spines." |

===== Credibility Notes =====
Lawrence Smith is a recognized expert in the Trichocereus community, and his explanation of the "TCP" nomenclature coined by Cal Cactuz is accepted as authoritative. François Vendiol is rated highly due to his detailed morphological breakdown, comparing the clone to established cultivars and regional phenotypes. Other community members provided propagation details, though they did not meet the high-confidence threshold required for direct quotation.
