===== Description =====
Walt's Melty Bridgesii (often discussed in relation to "Walt's Dragon") is a semi-monstruose cultivar. While named as a bridgesii, community members have noted that its spine morphology deviates from typical pure *Trichocereus bridgesii* phenotypes, suggesting potential hybridity.

===== History & Origin =====
The clone's distribution includes specimens auctioned on a Facebook "Pokémon group" and tracked back to a Reddit user. According to community members, the moniker "Dragon" was appended to the name by growers to increase its appeal. Dave Arnold documented the provenance of his graft via the Reddit community ''r/sanpedrocactusforsale''.

===== Cultivation Notes =====
No specific cultivation details were provided in the discussion. As a suspected bridgesii variant or hybrid, it should be grown in a highly gritty, well-draining mineral soil mix (50-70% pumice or perlite). Water deeply only when the soil is completely dry, and protect from high humidity and prolonged winter wetness to prevent black humidity spots.

===== Community Discussion & Citations =====
The discussion centers on tracing the origin of the clone and debating its genetic purity, with some members pointing out that its spines do not align with a pure bridgesii classification.
