Grafting

Grafting is a method used to amplify the growth of a specimen. Necessary Grafting Terms:

• Stock: The rooted or unrooted base onto which the scion is placed
• Scion: The specimen to be grafted

Flat Top Grafting:

• Select the stock piece and make a single, clean horizontal cut
• Select the scion and perform the same
• Fix the scion to the stock
• Wait 4-7 days to remove grafting bands
