Grafting

Grafting is a method used to amplify the growth of a specimen. Necessary Grafting Terms: - Stock: The rooted or unrooted base onto which the scion is placed - Scion: The specimen to be grafted

Flat Top Grafting: - Select the stock piece and make a single, clean horizontal cut - Select the scion and perform the same - Fix the scion to the stock - Wait 4-7 days to remove grafting bands Example of a Flat Top Graft:
